A flat to consider

26 Charing Cross Rd is a stately building. The West End location would better suit guests that are looking for night life. In the bedroom the noise from bars and restaurants made sleep difficult. At 6:00 a.m. metal carts rolled by, workers were cleaning the walkway. We were not able to use the T.V. or the oven. No directions were available. Also there was no service. (Half roll of toilet paper was in the flat, we had to purchase some.) When I phoned Hotels.com I explained my knees were a problem and was told the flat was one floor up, but it was two. Flat was spacious. Would work for the young and fleet of foot.
