Camden - small studio rental

The location is fantastic. A five minute walk to the tube. Several days prior to arriving we had emailed the host and made a specific request. It was not acknowledged, and when we showed up we had to prove that we actually had a booking.

Era muy sucio y viejo, la habitación en muy mal estado, muebles rotos, colchón incómodo, uno de los calefactores no funcionaba, las maderas de los marcos de puertas y ventanas estaban roidas y no cerraban bien. Se escuchaba todo de las habitaciones de al lado y, para colmo, no tenía ascensor tuve que subir y bajar las maletas por 4 pisos de escaleras muy empinadas y peligrosas. Lo bueno, el wifi gratis, el personal de recepción muy amable y el barrio.

Super Lage, hampstead und der Heath liegen fußläufig erreichbar und eine Tube in die Stadt fährt um die Ecke ab. Hampstead ist super geeignet um stadtnah zu wohnen aber dennoch ab vom Londoner Trubel und mit der Möglichkeit entspannter in kleinen Cafés und Boutiquen zu stöbern

Only needing to stay for one night in close proximity to Royal Free Hospital, Welby studios is perfect location & came up cheaper than other options. The room was clean & the road outside not too busy. The only nuisance was humming of fridge which was of no real detriment. It is definitely somewhere we would use again.

The staffs at Welby Studio are very friendly and helpful! We requested for ground floor room as we are 2 ladies travelled with large luggage and they were very considerate and understanding to fulfill our requests! The only favour I’d like to ask is to make sure if the kettle is clean as the one we were using is a little bit rusty inside. Other than that it was a pleasant stay at the Welby Studio. :-)

Sweet Street

Clean, cozy room in secure building with easy access to public transportation and food. Only issue is that the walls don’t block noise from other guests and can here tele, talking and plumbing.

Clean, easy to find, got a tv, bed and washroom, also got oven and kettle so you can eat breakfast in and save a few quid for a pint (or half!) during your days out, great place, stayed in past 3 years durinng my annual trip to London

we've stayed here a couple of times now. it's an excellent base for us, especially as the rooms are actually small studios with kitchenettes and a small breakfast bar. the management were also really helpful when we last visited. sure we'll be back again.

O atendimento foi muito ruim, no momento do check in, o funcionário nem olhou para nós. Indicou um quarto no segundo andar, não tem elevador e a escada é bastante estreita. Pedimos para ficar no primeiro andar e o pedido foi recusado. Pela nossa observação, o local estava com apenas mais 2 quartos ocupados. Não tem serviço de limpeza ou troca de toalhas. Faltava papel higiênico e tivemos que comprar no supermercado. O quarto é extremamente pequeno. O banheiro adequado No check out tivemos dificuldades operacionais, pois, devido ao horário do vóo de retorno, precisavámos deixar as malas para serem retiradas mais tarde, mas a recepção só abria às 9h30min e foi difícil conseguirmos uma solução minimante viável. O único ponto positivo é a localização, em um local agradável e bem próximo ao metrò

We stayed there for a night. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. We arrived much earlier in the morning, fortunately we were able to check in early. Room condition was okay. There are no lift in the building, so you might need to carry your luggage through stairs if you get room at upper floor. Kitchen is okay, complete utensils to use. The environment is great, quite residential area which is close to grocery stores, bus and underground stations.

Welby Studios Flat (October 2019 Review)

Strong Points: Great location (easy access to Belsize, Swiss Cottage, and Hampstead tube stops; also good bus connections and London Overground). Close walking distance to good restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores nearby (including large groceries on Finchley Road). Check-in only took one minute. Room was clean. TV provided and it did work, with ample number of channels. Good closet and ample shelf space for storing food items. Our primary reservations: Mattress on bed was old and far too soft; bed surrounded by two walls and closet so the second person in the bed needed to climb over other person to get in and out of bed. Kitchen had no teapot or microwave; very limited in supplies; no salt/pepper or any extras. Bathroom was a very tight space; impossible to open the shower door fully because it would hit the sink; water pressure was dependable but water temperatures would fluctuate quickly; toilet paper dispenser had broken off wall (but we were provided with ample toilet paper); we were provided with soap but no shampoo. Only one window; temperature in room was fine when we were there in October, but I suspect room could get very hot in the summer; we did not need to use the heating system so no idea how that worked. Our room was on the top floor (4th floor) and the stairs are steep and narrow; my wife and I are in decent physical condition, but these stairs would be a challenge for people with serious health or mobility issues. Property located on a quiet residential street so we had no problems with street noise, but we could easily hear people walking around in flat next to ours. Overall, we liked the flat and loved the location, but the property does present some challenges; concerning the room we were in our primary reservation would be the old mattress.
