"The hotel itself was very nice and exceptionally clean. While the surrounding area looked a bit sketchy, it definitely does not reflect the nice interior of the hotel, where we felt completely safe. The customer service was amazing. The staff were even willing to upgrade my room the next day after I made a mistake with my booking. Another major plus was the complimentary shuttle service that took us directly from the hotel to the subway station. The only downside was that our room was not serviced while we were out all day. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent service, despite the location."

"Clean room and easy check-in process. The bed is a little higher than you expect, and the sheets can be too tight and slip off sometimes, but it’s still a comfortable sleep in a good location for a reasonable price."

"The property is very modern, feels new and hip - the lobby is exceptional, open, large with many couches, art - there is a good size bar also. The lobby restrooms are the nicest and cleanest I have seen. Beautiful floral and plants - unique property! The room was nice, with good mattresses - HOWEVER - (and that is the reason for giving fewer stars in some categories) - the rooms are very sparsely furnished, no seating, just a small desk chair. No place to sit and watch TV for example, not much counter space anywhere to put things on, including bathroom - there is no mirror or coffee maker in the room. So, yes - rooms are nice and modern but not very practical - can be improved! Also, some of lighting in the room did not work, as for example there were lamps, but the plugs were incompatible with the outlet - the lamps were pretty but not functional."
