"10 day stay total. At the beginning the room in the 4th floor was not great. It was old, noisy and very small for 2 people. The front desk manager understood my concern and after I told him we were considering to stay longer he immediately agreed to upgrade us to the 10th floor. I also mentioned my gold status with Expedia. The new room was much better. Same layout but more spacious and renovated. Great experience over all."

"Terrible, terrible, terrible service! Once their shuttle miss you, they would never come back! When we came out of airport, we walked towards the shuttle spot and saw our shuttle approaching the stop but never stopped and left! We thought they would come back soon, but never came again! We watched every shuttle and all other hotel shuttles come and go every 10-15 minutes including Embassy Suites LAX North several times, but not ours! We even approached Embassy Suites North shuttle and asked if they could take us to our hotel but the driver said no. After 1 hour of wait, we called the hotel, but still the shuttle didn’t come. We called again and finally it came after 1 and a half hours of wait! Ridiculous! I was pissed! ALL OTHER HOTEL SHUTTLES CAME AND GO SEVERAL TIMES, BUT NOT EMBASSY SUITES SOUTH/EL SEGUNDO! Not even once! The driver said “We come around every 30 minutes.” That’s a lie! We watched every shuttle that come and go. When we got to the hotel, looking at the exterior of the hotel, I thought “I picked a wrong hotel.” It looked dinghy and looked like a haunted mansion. Walked inside, it looked dark and cheap interior. The front guy was inconsiderate that he gave us a room that was very end of the hall way, seeing me walking with a cane, I’m 76 years old. Maybe he intentionally gave us the farthest room cuz we reserved with Expedia that he mentioned. Their evening reception served staled tortilla chips, bulk Pace salsa and pretzels. "
