"Upon arrival to the hotel we were immediately impressed by the grounds and the buildings. The car park is big so there is no worry about finding a space in which to park. The Reception staff were very friendly and checked us in without any issue. All staff were helpful and courteous in dealing with us during our stay. Our room was spacious, well equipped with tea /coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a tower fan which came in useful during the warm nights. The bathroom was clean and tidy. There was a decent buffet breakfast with both hot and cold options, and the food was replenished frequently. We visited the Sports Bar for food and drinks whilst the Qatar v Switzerland game was on, service was friendly and fast. We enjoyed a carvery meal on the Sunday evening, again the food was hot, plentiful and delicious! We enjoyed a couple of drinks at the The Deers Hut pub which is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Great atmosphere there too. We made use of the swimming pool, which thankfully, was warm. Towels are provided so no need to bring your own. You can get locker keys by swapping your room card. Definitely a place to revisit."

De Vere Wokefield Estate

"We recently stayed at De Vere Wokefield Estate and had a mixed but generally positive experience. The estate itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning grounds and impressive facilities that make it feel like a special destination. The amenities were good, and there was plenty to enjoy during our stay. However, the room was a little disappointing compared to the rest of the property. It felt somewhat dated and dingy, and could definitely benefit from some updating to better match the quality of the estate and the room upgrade we had expected. Service was also a bit inconsistent. There were three of us staying in the room, but only two towels were provided. We requested additional towels, including some for the pool, but unfortunately they never arrived despite our asking. Overall, the gorgeous setting and facilities made for an enjoyable stay, but improvements to the rooms and more attentive service would make a significant difference and help the experience live up to the property's potential."

Village Hotel Basingstoke

"Stayed 12th-14th june. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean etc. Only one downfall .... I booked a room and they charged me to park in the carpark 😂 , but when you go outside and look at the signs. It says free from Friday to Sunday. But otherwise excellent. I cannot fault the place. It was modern, clean, lively . Very happy and would stay again"

Hampshire Court Hotel & Spa

"Good food and a clean and very comfortable room. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The facilities included full spa services including very good facials and the rest of the treatments. The swimming pools were clean and were providing experiences for small children whilst rhe other pool catered for over 18s. It was a relaxed and very comfortable way to spend 24 hours catching up with my sister. The only down points we found were that we could not open the balcony door even after a strong member of staff had done so and we felt they badly needed a garden designer to I prove the central garden area. They said that the regular gardeners would be coming in but we felt that to really make the most of that area it would need designers and some investment."
