"Recently refurbished in an attractive rural style the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. No air conditioning but a remote controlled Dyson fan was provided. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but could have done with some fresh fruit on the buffet table. However, when asked we were brought some pineapple which was good. The tables in the bar/restaurant were nicely laid out for dinner with proper napkins! "You are living in a structure with tons of history. It is updated to a point but wants to always maintain its history. Quaint rooms that tell a story and transport you back in time. Breakfast was great and staff very accommodating."
