"Wonderful hotel, highly recommended "

"Breakfast was ok. Basic selection. Found the sausages a bit salty, no omelette options, no hot chocolate drink. Rooms were clean. All had bath tub."

"I think it’s mean to charge £10 for a quick swim ( which is what most people want) in the morning. On top of £177 which I paid for the room. The beer was meant to be Fullers Pride It was £7 per pint and was so gassy, my colleague and I couldn’t drink it. THAT is not how London Pride is served. I have stayed twice and will be looking for better value elsewhere"

"I was visiting family and this hotel was only 5 minutes away from the village they lived in. It was nice and quiet and i would say is more for people passing through. Not really for families with small children, however ideal for when on the road with a lot of travel to do as a pit stop Staff friendly and hotel clean."

"The first room we were given stunk of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom. Odd as the room had been cleaned. The reception staff immediately gave us a better room. I also found it a little weird that the hallways were so dim (?). The wall sconces were on but didn’t throw much light. "

"What a lovely clean lodge, and my grandson was kept occupied with the man play areas and Lego stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning 💖"
