"We stayed in one part of the Grange , which needs refurbishing. Not the main hotel or even the main grange building. The curtains were old , the bathroom shower unit needs descaling. The bedroom wardrobe and other furniture looked old. No safe , insufficient hangers . The bed had a very plain white duvet cover , not even a cushion or runner with a bit of colour . The external door to the building and window sills were rotten and door wouldn’t close, it didn’t feel secure. We had dogs with us so appreciated that we couldn’t be in the main house but the photos on the website of a Grange Room did not look like our rooms . Very disappointing as it was a treat for my friend celebrating her milestone birthday which I’d mentioned to the hotel beforehand and had asked them to put some kind of birthday greeting in her room . There was nothing . On the plus side , the amenities were fine . Two bottles of hair/body cleanser . Plus soap added the following day . Tea/ coffee was provided and two individual biscuits on each day . The pet facilities were nice, a comfy dog bed and a large food bowl and we appreciated being in the ground floor . The grounds and main house were beautiful and even the Grange looked nice from the outside but not our building. However, the food each evening was very good, and the breakfast and the staff were lovely and helpful. We had a nice time but expected the accommodation to be a little bit more up to date. "

"Everything about Tylney Hall from the welcome at Reception, tasty lunch in the bar to dinner and breakfast in the Oak Room Restaurant, using the pool with lovely new changing room was wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and warm and all the staff we met were very friendly. Leaving was difficult but we are looking forward to another stay soon."

"Very friendly welcome at time of check in, explained that the building was in the process of being refurbished and as such some disruption may be experienced - in reality aside from the slight smell of paint nothing to worry about and clear that the owners are investing in the property. Some areas are looking tired and furniture in bedroom dated, BUT, everything was useable, clean and tidy. Shower was hot, powerful and as a tall / large lad very pleased that the towels provided were actually towels and not the daft little things most places give me! Bed was firm and very comfortable, WIFI had a good signal and room to work in the bedroom. Italian restaurant onsite which I didn't use - but overheard positive comments from those that did. I did however use Bar which was great and again very friendly staff. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet affair, continental on one side, hot / cooked on other and an array of juices and hot drinks in the middle - all very nice and all freshly prepared and restocked. Plenty of parking and would happily use again."

"The room was good, clean. Be careful of the in shower bath, as no mat provided and it was very slippery especially getting out! The food was good but service was extremely slow. Didn't seem to be enough staff, just 2 ladies working their socks off running the bar and restaurant. "

"The receptionist (sorry cant remember her name) was so welcoming and helpful regarding the local area. Room was great had everything in it you needed even a hairdryer (god send as forgot mine). Breakfast was lovely again great staff and friendly. Plenty of parking. Close to the army barracks abd Camberley ."

"Property was as expected. Parking was plentiful, room was clean, food was good. Stayed here with my 85 year old mother-in-law who has mobility issues and is dairy, wheat and gluten free. Food was a little limited and the lack of a non dairy spread at breakfast was a surprise. however the staff went out of their way to accommodate her and as this was her first time in any hotel she loved it."
