I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.

She assisted us on numerous occasions throughout our staff and even assisted with making sure we were able to get the best rate that was appropriate for our stay and our group. Selected "The Emerald Inn" via internet and it was everything and more than we expected. We spent a week there and it was just what we wanted and needed. The room was very clean and had more than what we expected - range, dishes, etc. It was within easy walking distance of a gorgeous beach, a fantastic restaurant - The Cafe and Bakery. Fantastic boutique hotel! We came from Philadelphia, USA, and have already decided we will be traveling the 8,700 miles to stay at the Convent Hotel again.
The chapel room had a garden wall that made the room always smell like flowers. The staff were extremely kind, inclusive, and accommodating. The Ada restaurant had the best breakfast Iāve ever had, and the best dinners that we had in our 5 days in Auckland. I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of my trek around NZ, and liked it so much I cancelled the hotel at the end of my trip and booked this one again. Rooms are large and well decorated, bathrooms are huge. Location is ideal. Staff are super personable. It was my favorite hotel of my six ones I tried throughout the country.

We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!

The newest hotel of the three in the chain at Sky City. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We saved the best for last. Accommodations were outstanding. Front desk stored on luggage on the last day b/c we had a late flight. Even offered us to use the workout facility to shower before we left for the airport-a first for me. The Grill Restaurant at the hotel food and service gets a 5 star rating. Ir is now my place to stay in Auckland.
