"Wow! This is a magnificent hotel in every way! It is beautiful, luxurious and filled with old world elegance. Our room was beautiful with lovely views of the lake. The breakfast was one of the most expansive and delicious spreads that I’ve seen. I could not recommend this more highly!"

"We had an amazing 6-day stay at Hotel Funicolare. The family suite provided to us was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — just a short drive to both Lake Como and Lugano. The views from our rooms were absolutely breathtaking. The staff was friendly, courteous, and always helpful. The breakfast had a great variety of fresh food, the pool was relaxing (although there was a lot of construction noise next door) along with the evening music. I would def recommend this hotel. But I have an issue with Expedia and cannot get through to a live person to discuss !!"
