For those who want to see hilo night lava, they offer free tours also, but please remember to tip the staff. Normally tours like this cost $ 220 to 260 with tours companies in hilo"

"The room was a superb find. Is not a new room; however is very comfortable, clean, spacious, close to everything and with lots of amenities. Its location is right in the middle of Downtown Historic Hilo. Close to the bus terminal which can take you the Volcanos Park and other locations of Hilo. Just get the bus schedule and be aware that the schedules can change and is not as clear. Ask the drivers to be sure. Our host Michele was very helpful to show and point the area and where to go. Thank you Michele, until next time."

The air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. However, the living and dining rooms did not cool down and were uncomfortably warm at times.We enjoyed exploring the Hilo area and the National Park was awesome!"

"Marc Nishimoto is such a great guy, if there were any issues it was because of my ignorance; for a simple 2-3 day stay it was perfect for me and my family, if there was any problem, I thought the bath/shower floor was a litttle slippery, but the kitchen was fully stocked, lots of towels, beds good, and an ideal location if you want to check out Kamehmeha Avenue's strip of stores."
