"I booked a two-night stay on short notice. The young man at the front desk was pleasant & efficient when I arrived. The room was clean & well-appointed with a single king bed. My only reasons for deducting one point is that the towels weren't supposed to be changed out except after three days.There is a small sign on the bathroom mirror at the lower left hand corner stating this. I also had the "do not disturb" door hanger out while I was away from the hotel but the room was entered anyway to change out the towels. I always make up my bed when I arise so that wasn't the point of entering the room. The second reason for 9-points is that while my room was at the elevator which was a noisy area, the large laundry bins were left in the alcove in front of my door. I could still enter/exit my room with considerable room to spare though. I will definitely stay at this location again. It was a pleasure & everyone was nice."

"For what it was, a renovated motel, starlight was great! The bed was firm and comfortable, and the room was clean. It wasn't even 10 minutes to downtown sagatuck (driving), or oval beach. Some rooms (my room, at least) only had a walkin shower, no tub, which was fine. "

"Retro Rob is awesome! He helped us with restaurant recommendations, how to get to the best beaches. We met some great people at the resort bon fire. Had a great time in Saugatuck!!"
