"Hotel lobby is not on the ground floor. Entrance is a bit difficult to locate. Also, entrance is not welcoming. However, if you make it to the lobby on an upper floor…You will LIKE it. Public areas & rooms are old European style. Hotel is clean and well cared for. Bathrooms are modern and functional. My room was LARGE and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and selections ample. Hotel is on Piazza Republica. The music in summer plays until about 2am. I loved it. If you want peace & quiet=ask for a room NOT facing the piazza. LOCATION is Very Good for all touristic purposes. Bed was excellent."

"This is a great location if you are driving to Siena. It was close to all the attractions. Great view from our room. Easy to find by car and on foot. "

Location-wise, the hotel is ideally situated—close to city center and 10 min walk from Train station. "Upside is that breakfast was included. Dinner menu was limited in choice. There were no lighter options. For example; salad, charcuterie board. The gardens and view are spectacular. The walls are surprisingly thin. I could clearly hear people’s conversations as well other activities. Air conditioning was working well which was appreciated during the warm days. Shuttle service has 2 drops off locations. Michael Angelo (great sunset) and the second location brings you within 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bring good walking shoes ! "
