"Pretty clean, except for a dead spider on the floor and a tiny ant on the wall near the door. Check in was quick and easy. Beds comfortable. Needs more towels and a towel rack by the sink. A little road noise from highway but not bad. Driving distance to restaurants. No breakfast. Coffee in room."

"What a wonderful, hidden gem!! Our family was lucky enough to have found this property for a last minute, end of summer trip! The hosts were accommodating, responded quickly and gave great recommendations! The cottage was very clean, had great brands of toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen with paper products provided! The neighbors were very friendly and helpful, but you wouldn’t even know they were there unless you were looking, it’s that peaceful and quiet!!If you’re looking to fish, be aware that the lake is very shallow (knee deep to end of dock), and bites were scarce. Even locals say it’s a hard lake to fish!All in all, our family had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing time that was much needed! We will be back!"

"Everything was as advertised for this house. We had our 3 adult children and 2 fur babies with us and had more than enough space for everyone. The pontoon boat and kayaks on East Lake were used every single day. We loved the location and how quiet everything was. The town of Newberry nearby had everything we needed from grocery stores, shopping, coffee shops and hiking with the falls. We took day trips to Sault Ste. Marie and multiple trips to Munising and Lake Superior. The hosts were super attentive to any questions we had, couldn't recommend this place any more! Having the garage be available was definitely an added bonus. Thank you for everything."
