There are charming coffee shops & bars right outside the apartment - which we took full advantage of! We had a glitch with the key but Daniel responded immediately with a fix. It was awesome."

"We loved Pedro's apartment. Pedro himself is very warm and welcoming, as is his home. We loved the personal details in the apartment and the view is amazing! Place was very clean and beds were comfortable. Yes, it is a long walkup but, to us, completely worth it. Location is excellent and yet quiet at night. We hope to stay again when we return to Madrid. "Javier (host) kept us informed and was very accessible. He met us at the apartment upon our arrival. In the morning of checkout, he kept our luggage for us as we had an early afternoon train departure. The location was perfect. Walking distance to Madadero, Retiró Park, etc. and so many restaurants. "This apartment is perfect! Great location -- amazingly quiet at night -- comfy bed, terrific kitchen, high-end appliances, thick towels and fancy shower, lots of storage. "Jose, the manager of this property, was great. Called him on the way to the flat from the airport. It was early in the day so he directed the taxi driver to his house, so we could store our luggage. "The cosy, but well apointed flat was perfect for my wife , adult son and I on a short stay in Madrid. It was a great location for walking to all areas of interest.
