"Check-in and check-out were super simple. Office staff communicates by text upon flight arrival and drops a pin for easy navigation. St John roads are an adventure all by themself, so the pin really helps. We stayed in Guave and the view was stunning. From the spacious balcony you can see all of BVI as well Coral Bay and the east end of St. John. The unit is very nicely decorated and in good shape. The spacious kitchen has a surprising number of appliances, gadgets and even some common spices and condiments which really nice. The grounds are well kept as in the awesome infinity pool, though the property is a fairly steep hill and there are 54 steps between the upper units and the pool, and a few dozen more down to the rarely staffed office. The ladies are quick to respond to texts or calls though. There is a market just down the (very steep) hill, but the 20 minute drive into Cruz bay is well worth it (better still, stop by their market before heading to the mountain top). Their markets are better stocked and about 30% cheaper. If you want a peaceful retreat away from crowded family resort life and the best view on the island, Calichi is the place to be."

"We absolutely loved this property. My wife and I stayed here for a week and found it to be a very relaxing place to unwind after long days on the trails or beach. We loved how well appointed it was with lots of thought put into what we might need for our stay. The beach chairs and other items were most appreciated! We utilized the outdoor deck nearly every morning while we ate breakfast and found ourselves back out there in the evenings. The homeowner reached out to ensure our stay was going well and was responsive when I had a question. I simply can't say enough good things about this property. We LOVED it! Thank you!"

"The craftsmanship of the cottage was impeccable! We met Tim who built them and is part owner; incredibly nice and amicable. Jill was there to meet us and the info she gave prior really made a difference in our trip. She was very informative on the area, and had several books on where to go for snorkeling, hiking and food. Lots of accommodations including first aid kit, coolers and chairs for the beach, spices and utensils for cooking, a grill, etc. On days we didn’t snorkel, we stayed in the cottage and lazed about. The iguanas, the numerous bird species and bats at nighttime were pure endless entertainment. We spent a week there and it wasn’t long enough. The locals were super friendly and hospitable. Definitely hope to go back! Thank you Jill and Tim for a perfect honeymoon getaway!!"

"We have stayed on St. John 6 times prior and this was by far the best place we have stayed! Location was great! 3 restaurants literally at the bottom of the hill (Sharkys, Surf Club, and Johnny Lime, along with Skinny Legs down the road) and the Dolphin Market grocery store. Maho is about a 9 minute drive from the house! The house itself is gorgeous! The views are stunning! The landscaping around the property is lush! The pool and patio areas are nice! The house and grounds were very clean! I’m very picky about cleanliness and it met my high standards! The owners have thought of and provided so many things to make your stay go well including things like snorkel gear, various sizes of ice chests, ice packs, beach chairs, pool floats, binoculars, first aide kit, an abundance of seasonings, restaurant list with times/days they are open, and a working ice maker in the fridge just to name a few! The kitchen has everything you need and more! The WiFi connection worked well! We will definitely be staying at Harbor Master the next time we return! Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! Tip: Stock up with groceries at the Starfish Market in Cruz Bay and use the Dolphin Market in Coral Bay to replace items as needed. The prices and choices at Starfish were much better than the Dolphin Market! "
