We went to Mammoth Lakes for the hiking up the mountain but did not know much about the different lakes on the south side of the city. The lakes were simply amazing and very peaceful! We will be back to check out the area for sure.

Loved Mammoth Lakes. Beautiful place to see. But please check Yosemite NP's website to see if reservations are required for entering the park. Had to take the Sierra route(2 extra hours) to get to Mammoth because we didn't have reservations.

A lot of restaurants and shops that said they would be open were not...specially in The Village. Stunning lakes all around the area!
"Staff were wonderful and friendly. The morning staff at breakfast were very attentive and ensured that food was always replenished. My only concern was the jacuzzi. The flooring was uneven and I believe broken. My sister and nephew cut their feet as they were walking into the pool. "
