"Bergen is the most beautiful city we have seen in our travels. The shops and restaurants go in many fascinating directions to explore. The food is excellent, especially at Egon's next door to the hotel. Hakon's Hall is majestic and feels like it's taking you back in time 750 years. The rail car to the mountain top has great views and beautiful forest hikes. We saw the Troll museum in Tromso, and the one in Bergen is also very fun to explore. The runes and artifacts in the Bryggens museum are fascinating. All walkable from the hotel! Also, the hotel has breakfast and dinner included which was nice not to 'eat out' every night. Great view of the city from our room too."

"Terrific location for all public transportation. The stop for the express bus to the airport was a few meters from the hotel’s entrance. The boats for the fjord tours also docked nearby. Historic Bergen is small and very walkable. The hotel was near everything including great restaurants"
