"Our stay at the hotel was great ,the staff were very approachable and could not help enough. We had meals in the restaurant on both nights and the food was excellent. Must mention our waiter on both nights he was excellent his Name was Samuel great character. The hotel is a great location if you're traveling down from santander to the algarve for a stop over. "

We were told breakfast was 8 AM but turns out it was 8:30 AM. Perhaps lost in translation. Breakfast was all laid out at 8 but we were not allowed to have it. Bed was OK. It would have been nice to have coffee in the lobby in the morning so that you can sit in the large number of comfortable places and enjoy a quiet morning. Especially with the room with the roaring fire. We wanted to know if we could order wine and sit in one of the lovely rooms but it must have gotten lost in translation. Not sure why many of these places don't have a FAQ in various languages explaining all this. We were there on Valentines day so there was a preset menu. It was good."
