"A very pleasant discovery. I chose this time to book a hotel right by the train station rather than down on the docks, and I’m sure The Liner will now be my preferred choi e in Liverpool. It is excellent value, with very good service from its team, they even made me a takeaway breakfast bag as I had an early train. The rooms are very comfortable, with attentive house keeping. One can quibble and note that the rooms do not have air conditioning, but that is bad for the environment anyway. A...

"Very nice pool"

"Nice stay, the room albeit big, was lacking various facilities like a desk or a mini-fridge. There was also no air conditioning, and with it being very warm outside, this then made the room feel very hot. No fans or other provisions despite the lack of opening windows. A mediocre stay for what is advertised as a 4 star hotel. "

"Very new hotel that actually feels like you are entering an office. Everything feels brand new. Rooms are large with wonderful shower and bathroom. Reception is run by very young staff but they are excellent. Very helpful and polite. They even bake the pastries for the morning breakfast in reception. Location is almost in the L1 shopping centre, so if you love the shops, this hotel is ideal. Also few mins walk to Liverpool Central station and Lime St station just 5 mins further up the road. "

"The hotel was set in very attractive gardens, the function room beautifully laid out with views looking over them, and the bedrooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was first class and most of all we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. "
