"Our room was clean both initially and when we returned for the second night. This is an older facility, so some of the furniture and fixtures showed age. However, the price was right! And...we slept well. The breakfast area was clean, the food great, and the staff very friendly."

From management down to house keeping they treat you with respect if you want to change rooms (at one point I wanted to switch sides) they let you. I even totally forgot about it and thought they did to nope they let me know we still have a room reserved for you if you want. "Overall, a POSITIVE experience. I only dropped the facility ratings because they are remodeling, so there was furniture outside many rooms. We did not have a dresser in our room. It had NO impact on our stay. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I told the front desk clerk we WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR for the Dover NASCAR race. I am grateful that Expedia found us a room that met my needs! The hotel we stayed at for the previous 30 years was knocked down to make a parking lot for the New Castle...

"Went with my significant other to Mardi Gras and it was a great price. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel so no need for a cab only when returning home at night. Even though it was about 15 mins away from New Orleans, it was worth the price and they are under going renovation. The 2 star rating is unfair cause we had an overall great experience. I was expecting an aweful room and terrible area but it was none of that. Ty you for making our trip memorable."

"Well they have you sign bunch of papers and you dont understand what he is saying to you since talks so fast and English not first language then take additional $100 from credit card that will be returned. They never returned mine for what reason I have none nor was I sent anything explaining why it wasn't returned. I did nothing but spend the night quietly by myself. "

"I like the facility location.i didn't like the fact i checked in and was charged for 2 nights that was already paid for thru expedia. Even though I prepaid I was still charged and now have to wait several days to get my refund. This is an inconvenience to me. This should not of happen if there was proper communication between expedia & riverview motel.. A phone call shouldve been made not an email to explain that my fees were already paid."

"We pulled up to the neighborhood in the early evening and oh my it was not a safe place. We stayed the first night with few options to leave so late. The kitchen sink hot water was not hot and the dishes were not clean in the cabinets. We witnessed illicit activity on the street outside. Also there was people screaming and shining lights in windows all night. We obviously did not feel safe to stay and left terrified in the morning. Not a place to stay with children or if you value your vehicle...
