"The location was great. We have stayed at Pirates Cove several times and love being on the sound. We saw dolphins from the deck and caught crabs from the dock. Having a great restaurant and bar on site is a plus. The house is nicely decorated but we found the furnishings to be lacking. The sofas in the living area are small and not comfortable for relaxing. "Pet friendly property, beach access close by/walking distance, staff was friendly, I would definitely go back. The only thing I didn’t like was that not all the rooms had a full size fridge/ some had mini fridges so it’s harder to manage when you have a longer stay. Our stay was wonderful overall! "
