"What a beautiful hotel so close to the reserve park and the beach. While breakfast isn’t included it’s not too far away if you’re looking for a bite. I loved the ocean view terrace and the staff were always so kind."

"It’s a bit dated/rustic inside the room.
We were not given the room we requested (we wanted bunk beds).
The location is great, you can walk to the ocean pretty easily. Breakfast area was closed for unknown reason. A nice gesture would be to offer coffee without charging us 2.00 US."

I gave this 5 stars because I have no doubt this was the best property in the area. The views are incredible and you are looking at the ocean while you are in the jungle. The free breakfast was a highlight for our family as we all spent time together eating both local and (US) standards. The dinners were equally delicious. To our surprise, the gift shop prices were very reasonable. That said, if you are expecting the kind of 5 star hotel you see in the States you might be disappointed. You might...

What a beautiful hotel overlooking the jungle and the ocean. Very close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Our only complaint is the hot tub was only like warm.

My wife and I spent a wonderful two nights at this resort. We got there late the first night and the staff was very helpful in checking us in and planning the next days activities. We enjoyed a late dinner out on the patio overlooking the ocean. Our room was very spacious and immaculate. The next day, we woke to a breathtaking ocean view from the room. My sister and I spent three nights at the hotel. We had an outstanding experience. The room and bathroom were modern and spotless and the beds comfortable. The room was a bit on the small side, but adequate. The staff at the hotel was amazing - so helpful and friendly. Our rooms were cleaned daily with a different little animal made from towels each day. The pool was warm and clean, and we watched the monkeys play in the trees and toucans and macaws fly around. Walkable to the beach, many restaurants, shops, and Manuel Antonio national park. I would definitely stay there again

Perfect location with super friendly staff. Can walk to the beach in a minute or could even walk down the beach to the National Park if you wanted. The common area is beautiful with butterflies and a deep pool that somehow always knew what temperature to be! Seriously was warm when it rained and was cooler when it was sunny! The room itself is so neat because it's super simple yet does everything you need. It also has some very unique acoustics which we enjoyed playing around with! Having...

Costa Verde exceeded my expectatjons. It looked nice from the pics but when we got there it was so much better. Our room had a full size fridge, cook top, microwave. I had a really delightful stay here. It’s in a beautiful place, easily accessible by taxi. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to a jungle view room and had monkeys visit me every day on the balcony. My only critique was that the food was unimpressive. Breakfast was disappointing and the dinner was rather bland and underseasoned and a bit over priced. But I took a taxi into town for the second night and had a great meal there.

From check in to check out, by far, this is the best Boutique Hotel in Manuel Antonio. Once you arrived, after a long drive from the airport, their friendly staff helps you settle into that “Pura Vida state of mind”
Large modern clean rooms with high ceilings and comfortable beds, oh and smart too. About the gardens and the swimming pool..?! Treat your self and book a room at this beautiful place!
And please be nice to the staff!

Beautiful surroundings; our room was secluded and in the midst of what appeared to be a jungle/forest. we relaxed in a hammock on our patio while we saw birds, lizards and monkeys. the pool was refreshing and enhanced by the daily happy hour two for one specials which were well crafted. staff was attentive and friendly and the restaurant had good selections.

The very best thing about this hotel is its location, a short walk from the national park and the beach. Our room's balcony provided a great spot to watch wildlife and listen to the nighttime symphony of forest sounds. Absolutely amazing! The staff was professional, friendly, accommodating and tolerated our bad Spanish with grace, though all were fluent in English. Our daughter loved the towel sculptures left on the bed each day, and the staff even put her stuffed animal in the center of a towel...

Our Room was more like a suite with kitchenette, small sitting area and huge shower.
Breakfast was amazing... Better than in the "fancy" =expensive hotel we moved to.
Good location between towns of quepos and Manuel Antonio !!!
Would definitley go back.

Issimo suites was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Beautiful, intimate rooms with exquisite views are paired with a warm and friendly staff. The receptionists were helpful and a delight. The wait staff were responsive and courteous, knowing when to leave you some space when you are gazing off into the lovely night sky. The hotel's chef (chefs?) prepared delicious meals and the menu is varied and surprisingly large considering the size of the establishment.

My stay at the Layan Hotel in Manuel Antonio was unforgettable! The service here is truly something special. One moment that stood out was when I asked if I could leave my wet clothes in my car, and the staff offered to keep them in the laundry room instead. To my surprise, when I went back to pick them up, they had taken it upon themselves to wash, dry, and fold everything—just as a kind gesture! It’s rare to experience that level of care.

Beautiful landscape, lots of wildlife (monkeys & iguanas), air conditioned big rooms and 3 pools. Felt like a resort it’s ok that there was no TV in the room because there’s usually only Spanish speaking shows (and we don’t know that much Spanish, however having a refrigerator in the room. I missed looking for that when I booked.

Amazing property! Lots of wildlife to be seen. Beautiful beach! Concierge Laura available via text and was super helpful. Better guidance at checkin would help - how to use safe, convenience store, pool locations…
Good restaurants within easy walk.
