"A great stay at the Woodpaddock in May 2025 for a weekend visiting family. Denise was super helpful throughout my stay, even before I had arrived! "The Wenns is a great place to stay. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture was old but that added to the character of the place. The kitchen area was reasonable well equipped with cutlery, pans etc and there was tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk all ready to go. There was also a washing machine and dishwasher with tablets and detergent. The location is ideal, 50 m from a car park and directly opposite the minster. "We decided at the last minute to break our journey on a bank-holiday weekend, from West Midlands to the East End of London and booked 'The Old School House Rooms' on chance and we were so pleased that we found them.
