"This motel is a great location when traveling through Nova Scotia to or from the ferry to Newfoundland or visiting the Cabot Trail. There was minimal interaction with staff but check-in was quick and easy. The room was a bit musty when first entering but after having the windows open for a while it was much better. The beds were clean and very comfortable and the washroom was clean. The room had both a front door for entering and a back door to explore the back garden and go to the water....

"It is a weird check-in as you call someone to let you in, with no one on site. Room was okay but not necessarily very clean. Bathroom floor was wet, with not all amenities stocked. Shower wasn’t very clean. Building is situated next to an industrial site in front of harbour. Not sure if bed had been changed or not. There was a smell. Not a great experience."

"Staff upon arrival was very friendly. Room was clean and newly renovated. Had a trailer with motorcycles and had no issue with parking. Great view of the lake from the Adirondack chairs located outside the room. Overall great stay."

"The owner of the hotel was very, friendly, helpful and understanding. We were late to check in, until the next morning, due to adverse weather conditions that cause of the original ferry was cancelled. The owner of the hotel was sincerely helping us by saving two rooms for us and allow us to have the late check out. So we can refresh ourselves and have few hours of good sleeping. We really appreciate that."

"We loved it! I’ll start with the basics. Super clean room and property. Room (#5) was a good size and bed was comfortable. Decorated so nicely. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Great bedding and towels. Free parking. What I didn’t expect was the room was filled with lovely amenities!. From the luxurious Canadian soaps and shampoos, to the fridge filled with sparkling water and cream, to the abundance of coffee pods (tea also), decent coffee cups and beautiful glasses. My husband kept going on...

"We had a balcony with a gorgeous lake view. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. There’s no mini-fridge in the room. The location was ideal, right in the center of town with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The only downsides for us were that the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked, and the curtains didn’t do a good job of blocking the sun after it rose at 5:30 am. We still recommend the inn and wish we’d had a chance to try their gluten-free restaurant, which wasn’t yet...

"Location is just on the edge of town but close enough for a short drive. It was extremely quiet because the highway is not used at night. As you would suspect from the pictures the buildings are older but the rooms...especially the bathroom, are nicely modernized. The hosts were top notch and helped me with questions and a car problem I had."
