Great Local hotel near Maastricht, NL, some great local sightseeing, American Cemetery from WWII nearby. Lot of local people in the restaurant and Bar in evenings.

We were greeted and cared for excellently during our stay at the Hotel Scheepers.

This hotel was conveniently located to the centre of Valkenburg and a short drive to Landgraaf and Zuid Limburg. We stayed here for a multi-day event at Megalands (concert venue in Landgraaf), and it was perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, the kitchenette (complete with coffee maker, tea pot cups, bottle opener, wine key and refrigerator) was very useful, and the shower pressure in the bathroom was great. Wonderful hotel on large grounds. Staff were wonderful. Food the best. One of a kind.

Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate. There's a little bus near the hotel that has you in Maastricht city center in 15-20 minutes (important note: Uber doesn't operate in Belgium but the hotel will get you a cab if needed). Staff was super friendly. Breakfast had lot of variety and was tasty. Owner greated us personally for breakfast. Rooms were nice decorated. It was super hot. Room had AC which made our stay pleasant. Beautiful countryside area.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Suite was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The whole experience was near perfect.

The hotel is delightful, the staff excellent, the location perfect (especially if you are an Andre Rieu fan and are fortunate enough to be there when he is scheduled to perform), and the city amazing. We had planned to arrive before 6:00 p.m., but our GPS had a mind of it's own; thus we were late from Amsterdam. I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go.
