"The hotel was charmingly old-fashioned without being dated, my room was enormous, staff were very helpful. Niggles, the bar closes at 10pm and the food offering is basically non-existent, but there are plenty of other options nearby."

"Convenient location (10 min walking) to Gaslamp Quarter. Super comfortable stay. The beds in South Tower were lovely. Large fitness center with spacious pools. Not a fan of the daily parking or “benefits” fees, but they were expected. The “city sounds” (sirens, trolley) were on the kind of loud side for us at night but that’s not a comment on the Marriott just an fyi if you have a city view room. Staff were all very courteous and friendly. We would definitely go back. "

"My stay at this property was absolutely great! As someone who doesn’t stay in high end places like this often the parking of $65/night and a mandatory gift shop fee of $25/night added up quickly. It could have been me not reading or that it wasn’t available information, but if you’re on a budget this is important info. Regardless, I would stay here again!"
