"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"My wife and I spent an enjoyable four nights in this unique hotel. The staff were very helpful and the room had lots of interesting features reflecting the history of the building. The attached brasserie is excellent. The area around Voiron is well worth exploring as well. "

"Bath worn out with holes. Beds comfortable. Food poor and expensive but nothing else even close. Fine for a few hours before a flight…. Though still a 30 minute ride to the airport without traffic "
