"We had a great time here and will be back! Beach - it's seaweed season but that didn't stop us from a walk and mainly enjoying the pools every day. Transport - Amstar was reliable for airport transfer and excursions. Food - I think our favorite restaurant was Satsu. Least favorite was definitely Olios but not sure if we just ordered the wrong things or if it was an off day? If you do book the romantic dinner it is at the Italian restaurant and we were served small portions of steak as main course so a bit disappointed, ordered pasta afterwards which was better lol. Drinks - All the bar staff were great. If you are drinkers then you should order a double (responsibly). They have many flavors of mimosas as well. Room - Our room was just amazing. The swim out room is 100% worth the splurge and we used it daily, also made friends with the neighbors. Resort - clean, humid as expected. We bought massages and got champagne provided due to romantic room! Caution - Yes the staff will ask about food allergies, but whenever you order food you still have to verify that it does not have your allergy in it because it does not seem to be communicated to anyone else, especially dessert. I didn't have any issues with my multple severe food allergies but it was just more of an annoyance. It seems like they ask just to ask. Mainly had issues at the buffet, but if the staff cannot answer your question due to language barrier they will get someone else to help you so that you are safe."

"The property was great. Really well kept. It was nice to see all the wildlife throughout the grounds. The food and entertainment was great too. It's outside of the city and a $30 taxi ride (each way) to make it in. And nothing is really accessible within walking distance outside the resort, but you won't really find a resort with grounds this open in the city. It's a trade off. I would definitely stay here again."

"First time at Moon palace! We enjoyed our time here..the staff from the front desk to housekeeping was always so friendly and helpful. One thing I would like to have more was for the dining especially breakfast was to have more choice such a beef or turkey protein. As a family who doesn’t eat pork we would appreciate that. "

" Everyone was really nice, the food was good, the room was very spacious, pillows were great. The room was always stocked with drinks. Everything was clean. They had coffee, ice cream and crepes shops. The little buses were driving around all the time, you could easily ride them. "

"Everyone was so friendly and helpful!! The grounds were beautifully manicured. Unfortunately, there was a huge influx of red sargassum (seaweed) that they could do nothing about, but they worked sun up to sundown raking it up and disposing of it. The staff was very accommodating. The buffet was really good with lots of choices. The dinner restaurants were top notch. The snack bars and food trucks, and many drink bars were all exceptional. The pools were well maintained and clean. Lots of guest services were available as well. The wildlife at the resort was probably my favorite part!! Monkeys, coaties, birds, iguanas, and even a boa constrictor were all enjoyed! We can’t wait to return! "

"Property is great except for a couple of things. First they will provide you no points unless you book through Hyatt site. Also, they keeping pushing VPI club membership and we let them know we were not interested from the start. Pass that tons of seaweed on the beach, but they spend hours trying to get rid of it. Great food and service with shout out to Dario and Manuel at the pool. All the restaurants are above average and we really loved the French and Asian. They do custom lunch by the pool that rotates with options like blue fin tuna, tacos, Spanish and TX BBQ. I am from Texas and would advise skipping their BBQ. Lots of activities around the resort and in the pool. "
