"The hotel, room, staff, food were all fabulous. From the welcome I received from the front door staff, who found the multi-tasking receptionist without being asked to moment I left the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was lovely, it was clean, airy and the coffee bags were an unexpected treat (I’d expected the usual coffee tubes) the room was nicely decorated and not the soulless reliable repeatable version the big chains provide. The hotel is recommended and my first choice next time I’m back in the area. Parking is limited but I stayed on a busy Friday night and found s space. "

"A lovely unique property full of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being an old building with many original features it has its flaws but they add to its charm. All beautiful original windows so no double glazing. They rattle if it’s windy! Our room got very hot even with the radiator turned off due to the old water pipes. We opened the windows and issue was largely solved. The views over Menai Strait were spectacular. The restaurant is excellent and well worth making a reservation. "Lovely room and the beds were so comfortable! We followed advance about the parking in a very close car park so cheap and easy. We had an issue with towels which was sorted out immediately and communication has been great. The only thing we’d have liked is the ability to make a cup of tea, only a coffee machine was in the room, and they don’t get hot enough for tea. Small thing and wouldn’t stop us from coming back! Fab place. "

"An absolutely magnificent stay at this property. The best one I have ever stayed in. The property is big, but cosy and comfortable, every bedroom is impeccable and the beds are comfortable with no expense spared. Kitchen is well equipped and functional. We were blessed with incredible weather meaning we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the views with every meal outside. A couple of teeny tiny things that didn’t effect our stay (such as cleaners forgetting to take their bag of linen), but owners were apologetic and helpful. Obviously the property is expensive, but for the size and quality it is totally justifiable. We would love to go again and we LOVED our stay. Thank you!"

"Oh my goodness... the view was spectacular! On our first day we witnessed intermittent sunshine, hail and 2 double rainbows, all set against a backdrop of Snowdonia. The house was warm, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped - great for a family of 5 adults plus our cavapoo. The garden is large and beautiful, but not enclosed, so we had to keep Bailey on a lead, but that was fine. Walking round the local lanes with her was lovely, with stunning views and a field full of lambs.The beds were very comfy for everyone except my hubby who loves a very firm mattress and the egyptian cotton bedding was much appreciated, as were the big fluffy towels. If you like playing board games bring your own (as we did), but having netflix and then a games console in the second lounge was great.The location was perfect - we visited Beaumaris & Newborough beach (a family fave) on Anglesey and Betws-y-Coed & Aber Falls back on the mainland.Would very happily all go back again!"

"Lovely property just a couple of issues * property details didn’t say there was several steep slate steps going up to the property and no handrail which made it difficult for anybody with mobility issues and as the weather is often wet, the steps were quite slippery* Secondly, the back room gets very little natural light as a window is small and over looking a wasteland area and a public footpath. It would benefit from having some kind of privacy window treatment such as wooden slatted Venetian blinds also the room is painted a very dark grey and the lightbulb is very low wattage all of that makes it a very dingy room to stay in as you need to keep the blind down for privacy and the colour of room drains any natural/artificial lightThe kitchen is well equipped, and the Bathroom is luxurious. Really enjoyed our stay."
