"Very close to train station but try and get a room not facing the train station due to noise. Wc was seprate to the shower which is a minor niggle. 15 mins walk to old port and lots of shops nearby. Lots of mainly Arab food places open late and very early and dead cheap on the door step. Feels relatively safe despite the riots dying down. Mareilles is not dangerous like the media states. Metro station faces the hotel. Pool use costs extra and I was not aware of this, need to pay 30 euro for a...

Hôtel Amoi Vieux Port - Marseille"This was a great stay in Marseille, couldn't recommend enough! We had a quick trip for a night and wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were very clean and it was located perfectly (right by the metro stop to easily get to St Charles station). But just note, the rooms are small so there's not too much space to store your things (we just had carryons so it was okay). The beds are also pretty basic but expected for a boutique hotel. Overall had a great experience for what we were looking...
