"very nice hotel looks very new clean modern. The room is very spacious great size nice view from the balcony. Staff was very helpful. I went half board and for the evening meal You get a set three course meal which was amazing like Michelin star. I was surprised to see the hotel was fairly quiet but nice to my liking. The rooftop pool is very cool which I use daily first time in an infinity pool. Nice central location room was very quiet and had great air-conditioning would definitely recommend"

"Usually when visiting Porto for work I stay in one of the HF’s Hotels, this time it was Tuela. Excellent value for money, team could do with some training but all are helpful. Parking needs addressing current issues, lighting was green but displays showing a full park does not add up."

"The mini fridge comes stocked, which makes it difficult to put your own stuff in. Our only issue was that there were not enough towels one day, but not a major issue. And the bath room door is awkward--sliding glass door that doesn't allow for much privacy. Staff was great and overall stay (for a week) was fantastic. I would definitely come back."

Porto Palácio Hotel by The Editory

"This was our first visit to Portugal, and Porto Palácio Hotel gave us a wonderful first impression. The entrance is beautiful and grand, and check-in was quick and seamless. We arrived early, so the hotel stored our luggage and invited us to enjoy a complimentary drink and nuts at the rooftop bar while we waited. The panoramic views over Porto were incredible, especially at sunset. Our room was spacious, comfortable and easy to navigate. The toilet and bath/shower being in separate rooms worked well for us. The minibar was a nice touch, although it left limited space in the fridge for our own drinks. The TV was modern and easy to use, with Chromecast and useful information about the hotel and local area, although connecting to Chromecast was temperamental. The hotel’s WhatsApp service was also really convenient for non-urgent requests, such as booking an airport transfer or asking general questions. Overall, the room was clean, but we did notice some dusty areas on the floor and some wear and staining around the bath. While these were only minor issues, we expected the bathroom to be a little more spotless for a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try the spa, restaurant or gastrobar, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Porto Palácio Hotel."

"The staff is very pleasant and helpful! A nice downhill 15-20 min walk will bring you where the action is in old Porto by the river! The property is thoughtfully laid out with an inviting garden and interesting art work in the hallways. The washroom is clean and modern. The kitchenette is cute and functional. Great job team 705!"

"Overall our stay was a pleasant experience. Hotel location was right near the metro, not 100% central but still within close proximity of the city. It was easy to walk around. Staff was friendly and responsive when needed. Unfortunately we went during a heat wave, the air conditioning wasn't strong enough and very inconsistent."
