"The is an excellent little resort by the airport. It is right on the beach and has an adorable coffee shop/bakery a quick walk down the street. The attached restaurant was really good a well. The staff was very friendly and the amenities on the grounds-pool, yard games, etc were great. It was the perfect spot to stay when we arrived on the island and waited to head to our condo."

"The location of the hotel was amazing! But the hotel itself was not good. Check in is at 3pm but their office closes at 4pm so you’re stuck with a random security guy checking you in. The security guys were every where. They are constantly watching. I was sitting on the porch of my hotel room by myself reading my book when a security guy comes over and hands me a piece a paper. "The Outrigger is a beautiful place to stay. The staff is very warm, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. You will be close to the beach and the pool. There are plenty of excursions to choose from. I wish they had a bit more of variety of food/restaurants in the hotel. Overall, we highly recommend staying at the Outrigger in Maui!"
