"The house was comfortable for our group, 2 parents, son and his friend. The views from the house are absolutely incredible, and we were blessed with the weather so had spectacular views of the lake and mountains every day. The house itself is a tiny bit dated, but this did not matter at all as it was fully equipped with everything you need, including a fabulous wood burner which kept the upstairs nice and warm. "It was a great place to stay. Really lovely and easy and accessible. The apartment is split into an upper room with two rooms in the basement. This was perfect for our family as we and the kids slept downstairs while my mom slept upstairs so as not to get woken up in the middle of the night. The only drawback was the portacot we initially received was broken, and Kal (host) didn't know if we could get another one until the following day. This was then fixed because there were two brand new...

"This property was a major element to loving our Queenstown stay. When in the large apartment you can soak in the many beautiful aspects of QT while only being a 5 minute walk to shops & restaurants or 10 minutes to the lake. We took advantage of the great cooking facilities & views on some occasions. We didn't do any exploring outside of QT central so we didn't have a need for the car at all as there are many, many activities & shops within walking distance including a great almost hidden...

"The property was nice in a good location not far from town center however the studio was smaller than we thought it would be. The single room was just large enough for a king bed, a couple of end tables and 1 chair. There was also a closet and very small kitchenette. The bathroom was a good size and fairly luxurious though. Although small, we made do and it was convenient for us. "

Only minor complaints: no central heating, only in bedrooms (warm enough for us in August but might be annoying in colder weather) and the single beds are a bit springy."
