"The host was wonderful and welcoming. So many helpful tips about what to see, where to go, what not to miss. Don’t forget to avail yourself of his unique pulley system for your luggage. A lot easier than lugging up several flights of a spiral staircase. The gentleman we interacted with (owner) is so proud of his city, his B&B, and his COFFEE! He’s an expert at all three. I’ll miss awakening each morning without the latter. A delightful place and host. "

(Second place is finding a way to move around Sicily which lets you arrive on time.) It was not as easy as I had believe from my research particularly during times when the lift is not operating. There are only a handful of buses that run from the plaza adjacent to the train station. "This is a comfortable apartment with views of the sea. Check-in was swift and complete. Breakfast items were in the refrigerator and drawer for our use. The kitchen is complete enough to make meals if you want. There were 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. The only slight problem was the plumbing - drains being too slow or backed up. Location is good for exploring the Old Town of Marsala - just a couple blocks away."
