"We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Isartor. The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to transit (less than 5 minutes) and the Marienplatz (about 10 minutes). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view of the river and consequently also received sun all day long so it was a bit warm, despite having a few windows. However, when we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they arranged to have a portable air conditioner to our room within an hour (without us asking). The room was well kept and spacious (we had a family room with 3 adults staying). They have parking arrangements with the garage next door. If you are renting a vehicle and need parking, our recommendation would be to go with a smaller vehicle as the parking spaces and access are tight. We have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel Isartor for your stay in Munich."

"This hotel excels in every aspect. Our room was even ready early. The staff at check in were super helpful. The room was right over the square, and when the windows were closed, we heard nothing. Bed comfortable, breakfast above average and beautifully presented. There is easy parking to check in. We parked in a public ramp with a small walk just for ease of parking. Location great right on the promenade and easy to board the ferry too. Highly recommend. We loved Meersburg and wish we had booked an extra day. "
