We stayed there for one night over the King's birthday weekend and the resort was fully booked, yet the two staff on Reception handled the registration for us, and others, in a helpful and friendly manner.The continental breakfast was adequate and again the staff handled the service quickly and efficiently. "This is a retreat hotel for treating people with cancer. I didn’t know that until after I arrived. I didn’t see anyone who was unwell. We I researched the property I realised it’s history. I thought wow, a massage chair in my room, cool European shower with jets etc, a gym and a chapel where I could light incense and candles. Filtered water is available, a fireplace in the eating area and very clean bedding. Whilst the room was small with no wardrobe, I only had an overnight bag and could cope....
