"It was by far the most charming place we've ever stayed in. AND just across the street from the train station (noise not a problem) so very convenient with luggage. Their breakfast buffet (not included but very reasonably priced) was good and plentiful. Around the corner from bus stops, with many local eateries within a couple blocks. Had a game room with pool table, library, bar, just can't say enough nice things about it."

"Very comfortable bed, and loved the easy access to the shower, no needing to step into a bath, the accommodation gave me a room that really suited my needs. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and always very pleasant. There was plenty of activities for both Adults and children, was not there long enough to partake in most of the activities."

"Dinner was outstanding"

"Spacious room and bathroom and all spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the Echos restaurant which was superb. Great choice and excellent wine pairing. Breakfast was fresh with eggs cooked to order but overall choice was limited. Only downside was that, despite being told how to access the interior swimming pool, it was closed when we tried to use it. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house has simple but charming character. The views from the back windows are amazing. The host was very responsive; we needed to make a change to the booking and she was very accommodating. The place was clean. Amenities are modern. Check-in instructions were clear and concise. It was quite cold outside, but the heater kept us nice and warm. Thank you for providing us with such a welcoming place!"
