Meriton Suites Melbourne

10/10 Excellent

"Very professional and comfortable"

The Langham, Melbourne

8/10 Good

"Great view, classic charm, and excellent service! I had a lovely and relaxing stay. The room featured a deep bathtub, crisp clean linens, blackout curtains, and a pleasant river view. Staff service was excellent—the receptionist thoroughly followed up on my booking’s F&B credit, and I was grateful for early check-in and a 1:00 PM late check-out. The breakfast buffet was solid, especially the fresh omelets and miso soup. The wellness facilities were a highlight: the jacuzzi had a great view with nice water jets, and there were complimentary teas and hydration stations in the pool/sauna area. Note that the pool has a glass roof, so visiting in the early morning or late afternoon is ideal to avoid direct sunlight. The property shows its age slightly, but the public spaces have a wonderful, timeless classic style. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!"

Atlantis Hotel, Melbourne

"The room was very clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason, there was a problem with the water in the bathroom. I was unable to shower or even flush the toilet and spoke to reception about the problem. They were very apologetic and offered me the use of another room. They also offered me a free breakfast. I was appreciative of their efforts, but asked to speak to a manager when they were available. I received a call later in the morning and discussed the matter with the manager. She offered her sincere apologies and assured me that I would be looked after when I next visited the hotel. I cannot fault the manner with which this unfortunate matter was handled, and would definitely recommend the hotel for those travelling and in need of the convenience of public transport and/or passage to the airport."

"Love the water refill station, keeps me hydrated while walking around the CBD. Shopping mall is close. About a 10 min walk depending how fast you walk haha. Loved the breakfast Buffett, love my OJ. Vegetarian and vegan options. I wish there were strawberries for breakfast. All my 5 mornings didn’t have it available, something minor but I would’ve loved breakfast even more. I had a vegan Mediterranean pasta for dinner. Delicious. I had a 5 other friends that went to the hotel and we were discussing about the beds. Clean, but the beds were harder than I’m used to. People who prefer softer beds would not be a fan of these beds. Staff made check in easy, I landed around 11pm and head to the hotel right before midnight. There was one worker by himself helping a couple of guests. I was still in line and a 2nd worker came through and helped me. I appreciate that. Thank you for having me at your hotel. This was my 1st time in AUS and I’m already wanting to come back. See you guys next year! -Royce"
