Great food, great staff, lovely front patio, convenient location. US and Spanish embassies are within seeing distance. Nice mini apt rooms. Quiet! Balconies are nice but views limited due to this area being a series of high rises with apartments, restaurants etc on floor level. St Kilds Td is a direct shot to downtown/the CBD. 7-11 is one block away, very convenient. Buy public transport cards there. I had a wonderful two week stay!!

We felt lucky to stay at the Oaks. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the location on the tramline was perfect for walking and using transit to see the city and travel to the airport. Very good / interesting, casual and reasonably price restaurants in the Luna area of St Kilda. We stayed twice and were very happy. The second stay was in a somewhat tiny room but with some manouvering was workkable. We recommend it.
