"It was a long day of traveling and I was initially bummed that there wasn't a window in the apartment and I couldn't find the hairdryer and there wasn't shampoo.... "Excellent location, close to the ferry without being in a tourist spot. Lots of local bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable; however, the bathroom was frustratingly small, even by European standards. It lacks any space for toiletries, and the showers are phone-booth-sized. If you're a larger person, you will struggle—I'm 6 feet and thin, and didn't have much room to maneuver! The breakfast was good, with lots of variety, but it does get very busy at times. Overall, very good value."

"This hotel does not live up to the Intercontinental name. The hotel needs major room renovations. The lobby area and restaurant areas are nice but the rooms are so outdated. The 1st room we checked in had a musty smell and the carpets were stained. Asked for a room change, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The 2nd room was a bit better but the same issue with the old carpet. We had club access which gave us separate breakfast area, tea time and pre-dinner food and drinks. The Seabeach pool on 19th floor is very nice but even with Club Access we were told that the amenities were not included and it was an extra charge. Overall not a bad stay. Location is perfect. The staff made sure we were taken care of, and they worked very hard with a smile 😊"
