"The plough inn was very helpful when I booked the wrong night and needed to change it, the plough could have just kept the money but agreed to the change. The room and bed were comfortable, the shower however didn’t work properly, it was a small matter overall in our stay. Breakfast was excellent staff very helpful."

"Great stay"

"A really lovely stay at the Derby Arms. The room was fantastic – modern, comfortable and very well equipped, with all the amenities you could want. The bed was particularly comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. I didn’t get the chance to eat there, unfortunately, but the menu looked excellent and definitely made me wish I’d had more time. "Close to the train station."

"Brilliant stay, lovely attentive staff, stunning location."

"We stayed for two nights and while the room could best be described as adequate, the public areas are spacious, clean and well-decorated. There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice."

"lovely food, lovely staff, lovely stay."
