"We chose Eugenia Haus for a family celebration of my wife’s and my 70th birthdays. It was a wonderful place to celebrate with family members of all ages. The hosts, John and Jacqueline were so gracious and welcoming and provided us with helpful information and recommendations for our stay. The property is beautifully appointed with lots of room. "This was a fantastic stay except for the following: Spoiled milk left in the fridge Dead flies all over the floor as well as other dirt upon arrival Construction noise and outhouse smell at certain times of the day We had to buy and replace batteries for the remote in the tv room No check in or check out instructions were provided so we had to keep texting the host for information"

"Verena was a great host. We had a large group and rented all the rooms. Everything was perfect in the house. As to location, it’s great. The train station is across the street. A restaurant is next door. The lake is across the train tracks. And the views from every window is fantastic. Highly recommended."
