"2 bed house in quiet street. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. House was clean and basically furnished. Everything worked as it should. Nice bathroom with shower. Driveway if required. Close to town centre (£5 in taxi). Can’t comment as to local amenities or public transport as we never used them. Contact with owner was easy and we had no issues. "

"From first contact to leaving we had a first class experience. Julie was easily contactable and flexible with requests. The house was very well equipped, spacious,clean and a wonderful place to relax. Lovely views and easy access to the beach and Liverpool attractions.Highly recommend!"

"After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."

"Although the location is lovely I Messaged the owner a day before our stay to ask about the check in process. He then informed me not even 24 hours before our stay that the pool would not be open. I explained how this is the only reason we booked but he was extremely unsympathetic. The owner knew about the pool not working a week before but decided not to tell us so we would no longer be eligible for a 50% refund. There was no form of compensation. "We were a group of family members congregating in Liverpool to scatter the ashes of 3 deceased relatives. Despite the photos showing a lovely house it is in reality a badly maintained student house share during term time. We were a party of 15 including 5 children from 4 to 12. This house would probably be fine for hen and stag events but not for a family grouping. Issues: A trailing socket and wiring left in the hall at the bottom of the stairs, we advised the manager who told us to leave it,...

"Stayed here for a family wedding and suited us well. Nice clean simple bedrooms, small but nice shower rooms. Small house but all we needed. Only issue was we had three cars and only one permit, so had the park a few streets away. The communication with the owner was slow over questions about parking and missing items after we had left."
