"The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional."

"My partner and I had a lovely few nights here and we loved every second ! The grounds and house are stunning and the room was comfortable and cosy. Guy ( the owner ) was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was of a high standard and delicious. We walked the woods behind the property ( highly recommend- really stunning views from the top). We are already talking returning next year !
