"A lovely comfortable stay, slept well in a comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice very spacious and clean. We had a nice meal and a very tasty breakfast, bonus point for Gluten free sausages. All staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay again."

"When I arrived, there was no heating on in the room and it was quite chilly. I had a word with reception and it was soon resolved. Someone came to the rescue! "Good value hotel about a mile from the city centre. Doors are all combination so there is no worry about losing the key. Room had to be reprogrammed but the staff did this quickly and cheerfully. Very helpful and welcoming."

Nice little touch was a research area with comfortable chairs and leaflets , about the local area, to go through. Beer garden is a great place to relax. Would definitely be happy to return"

"Booked a one night stay as plan last minute changed. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice and good quality. Just a small complaint felt the pillows were a bit lumpy and struggled to get to sleep. "Literally booked this the day before we arrived, found it easily enough, completely off the beaten track, lovely and quiet, really lovely little place, ample big enough for a family, plenty to do in the area. 20 mins or so from Caerphilly and Cardiff, plenty of places to eat or shop, just had a really nice time. Cut short by some issues at home but we'll definitely be back for longer next time. Thanks for accomodating us."
