"We loved our time here. Although the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed wonderful walks on the beach - particularly crossing the bridge to Barmouth. The hills behind the house are beautiful too, and the whole area is just lovely. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the novelty of having a record player - so much so that we’ve come home and bought one! I left something behind and Eloise kindly offered to post it back to me too. We’d definitely return!"

"The chap on reception (might be the manager) was very friendly and helpful. Although there are narrow corridors, the hotel overall is not grim, and "feels" pleasant. It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement. Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber. Nice Room Bug & Comfy
"The room was on the front with a view over the sea...The room and bathroom were on the big side compared to most Hotels we have stayed in. 2 Couch chairs in front of the big window was good for watching the water. The bed was very comfortable. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The only negative is Parking. Parts of the Hotel.com web site & the Glengower web site indicated that free parking is available. However, the Hotel does not have parking itself. It is only free parking IF THERE ARE PARKS AVAILABLE on the street. On the Weekend and especially in Summer, it would be doubtful parks would be available.... So keep this in mind. There is a Pay & Display car park about 5mins walk away."
