"Best bed for us on this trip. Also only host to provide a shower cap. A room on the other side of the building would have been excellent but unfortunately we were assigned a room next to the Main Street and had a sleepless night due to the traffic noise."

The cottage is incredibly well-stocked with everything you need (we prepared several meals there), so quiet and close to the most beautiful walks in forests and mountains. "I'd stayed at the hotel once before and had a front facing room which was just superb. This time I had a back room which had no view so was a little disappointing. On the other hand, being solo and with a dog, it was easier than trying to climb the stairs. It wasn't a big deal as I was only there for one night. There is no allocated parking so it's pot luck along the front. I got within about 100m. There are no evening meals served so it's a walk along the front to a cafe which was fine. The room itself was plenty big enough, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. I'd stay there again, but next time might request a front facing bedroom, the stairs would be worth it."
