"My check in wasn’t the friendliest encounter but the morning crew was very friendly and helpful. The pool was disappointing and dirty… my freezer had left over food in it as well.. convenient location great morning staff… Great breakfast selection.."

"A decent place to sleep when visiting the greater Anchorage area. The hotel seemed relatively clean. Included parking. Coffee and a quick breakfast provided each day. Early check-in an hour before assigned time was an absolute no. Our stay was very basic with no frills (including a bottle of water). Had to ask for fresh towels for day 2. No daily cleaning automatically provided. Priced well above other Marriott SHS properties, but was commensurate with competitor Anchorage choices during the time we spent in the City."

"Front check-in could not have been worse. Argumentative clerk who put us in an unsuitable room on the ground floor. When we asked to switch to a room on a higher floor, I got attitude and was told that you need to request that in advance (even though the hotel parking lot was empty). I have stayed in Hyatt Place hotels all over the US and have never had a problem switching rooms. Breakfast quality was terrible and not up to Hyatt Place standards. You will get a better breakfast at a Super 8. Stale, overcooked synthetic eggs with undercooked sausage and not much else. There are plenty of other hotel options in the area, so I would avoid this property."
