We stayed at the Bougainville premium suite and it was worth the splurge. It had an awesome and very clean jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine.
Also had a massage chair which was added to the relaxation vibe.
The Sommelier, Renan, had awesome recommendations about wine which we truly enjoyed.
Breakfast was fantastic and we ate dinner at the restaurant 2x because it was absolutely delicious. We loved our stay.

We love these kinds of old-fashioned, elegant hotels - hotel & room were in excellent condition, staff was very friendly, king bed was super comfy, excellent dinner in the Leopoldina restaurant - even though nearly empty, we enjoyed dinner very much. Beautiful dining room for breakfast. Good value for the price - not cheap, but worth it. We had a "suite" which isn't a suite at all - just the biggest rooms they have. Other reviews mention that the ground floor rooms are damp & dark - I...

This stay was amazing. The owner, Regina, and her staff is very kind and helpful, the property is very clean and comfortable, breakfast is sorted with many items and fresh bread and fruits, and there’s many cozy lounges to relax, read, or meet new friends. Regina herself is always present checking if we need anything.
The staff is always ready to advise on places to visit, or the best restaurants in town.
We highly recommend this place. You’ll be surprised.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Tankaman. We stayed at the Cabin with Spa inside and what a treat! Beautiful property, with natural swimming pool, steam sauna, "ufuro", etc. The staff is very well trained and available to pretty much do anything you want after a short phone call of WhatsApp message, including setting up any meal at your Cabin. They do not charge corkage fees so bring your own wine. Breakfast is served at any time and it is amazing! Close to the breakfast area, you...

Had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Paz resort. The hotel is in the hills of the Itaipava area of Petropolis and while close to the center also feels like a nice retreat. Quinta da Paz is truly a resort, on a large beautiful piece of property with a gorgeous pool. There is even a small nature hike on the resort. The trip was truly a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Rio de Janeiro.
The restaurant serves delicious, fresh food and some of the ingredients are from their garden. The...

Make a point to visit attractions like Terra dos Dinos and Miguel Pereira Railroad Museum. Discover sights such as Javary Lake, Gate of Miguel Pereira, and Vale do Paraíba during your stay.
When is the best time to book a hotel with a pool in Miguel Pereira?
You may want to consider a place to stay that offers an outdoor swimming pool if you plan to visit Miguel Pereira in the driest months of July, June, or August when the average rainfall is 2 inches. Lodging with an indoor pool may be the way to go if you are visiting during the rainiest months of January, December, and March when the average rainfall is 7 inches.
